In the heart of Queen East, loft living has been refined with an elegant restyling of an early 19th century warehouse building.
The striking residence is visually divided by a vertical strip of deep crimson brick marrying the historical elements of the 19th century building an the contemporary additions.
At one side, glass and aluminium clad lofts with 10′ ceilings rise above the restored building face, while at the other side a more traditional facade of warehouse style windows is defined by a sleek concrete sill protruding from the building and framing the lower levels.
This nine storey residence was designed by Core Architects and utilizes their very strong design sense. With 222 lofts and upper penthouses stepped back from the building face, the unique design is completed by the spacious centrally located courtyard. The Ninety is a 2014 ULI Globe Awards Finalist.
